Red Bull Air Race  25-27 July
An international series of  “Air racing” air races in which competitors have to navigate a challenging obstacle course in the fastest time, established in 2003 and created by Red Bull. This year for the first time in Poland.  http://www.redbullairrace.com

European Men’s Handball Championship  14-24 August
Gdynia Arena, the modern and multi-functional venue, will host the EHF Men’s 18 European Championship.

Volvo Gdynia Sailing Days  8-24 August
Every year  thousands of sailors come to Gdynia, called the Polish sailing capital, to take a part in the spectacular event.  The program includes World, European and Polish Championships. This year Volvo Gdynia Sailing Days will be held for the 15th time.   http://www.gdyniasailingdays.org

Operation Gdynia Sails  15-18 August
Gdynia will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first Tall Ships’ Races. In 1974 in Gdynia the West met the East. In the world divided into two enemy blocks, sailing built a bridge to mutual understanding. It turned out that the sea could bring people together and Gdynia proved to be an open city. Gdynia Film Festival 15-20 September
Gdynia Film Festival is one of the biggest film events in Poland and the only one which promotes the Polish cinema to such a large scale. Every year the newest Polish films compete in Gdynia for the Golden Lions award.  www: http://www.fpff.pl
