2021 Seattle Polish Film Festival Poster Competition Now Open

Win festival passes, plates of pierogi and an invitation to the opening night reception! Submissions due July 31st, 2021.

The Seattle Polish Film Festival (SPFF) is looking for artists, photographers, graphic designers, etc., to submit designs for the 2021 Seattle Polish Film Festival poster. SPFF committee members, in partnership with members of the Seattle-Gdynia Sister City Association (SGSCA) are looking for new designs reflecting the essence of Polish/American cinema. All entries must be submitted electronically and will be judged on originality and artistic merit. The winning submission will become the property of SPFF and become the official poster and festival program cover, as well as being featured on the festival website and other promotional material.

There are no entry fees and artists, photographers, graphic designers, etc., are encouraged to submit multiple entries, as long as each entry has a distinct design.

Need some inspiration? Google Polish poster art, polish cinema, etc. You’ll be surprised at what you see!

We look forward to seeing your creativity.

Gdynia & Microsoft sign contract

Vice Mayor Bartoszewicz and his delegation not only attended our 25th Anniversary Gala but were busy engaging with Microsoft.

SGSCA President, Z. Konofalski, helped facilitate a meeting between the two in July of 2018, and now the contract between the city of Gdynia and Microsoft is signed. Construction of the first Polish Microsoft Flagship School is under way at Gdynia’s 17th High School, making it one of an elite 18 in the world!
