Piasecki Exhibit and Dreamliner delivery will be historical event.

Representatives of the Polish Home Association, Seattle Gdynia Sister Cities Association, University of Washington Polish Studies, Polish-American Chamber of Commerce Pacific Northwest and Polish fighter pilot, Captain Witold Aleksander Herbst were on hand to welcome the Polish delegation to Seattle at a planning meeting this past week for the upcoming Piasecki Exhibit and send-off of the Dreamliner to Warsaw.

The Frank Piasecki and Other Polish Aviator exhibit opening will be held at the The Museum of Flight on November 13.  It will be an entertaining evening with performances by Vitat Musica! Choir the Witkacy Theater. The Polish Home Association Auxiliary Ladies will provide Polish food catering for the Piasecki exhibit opening. If you are interested in attending please email [email protected]

The Witkacy Theater will perform in Polish at the Flight Museum during the Piasecki exhibit opening and also at the Polish Home prior to November 13. Date and time for the Polish Home performance TBA.

The Dreamliner Boeing 787 Delivery from Boeing to LOT will take place on November 14 in Everett. This event will be small and mainly open to the media. Ambassador Kupiecki is expected to attend the event in Everett. Passengers on a delivery flight from Everett to Warsaw will include the Witacy Theater, LOT and Boeing staff but no private citizens. The main celebration will be held in Warsaw upon arrival.

We want to thank the Polish Aviation Museum Cracow for making this all possible. We look forward to working with our partners from Poland and making the Piasecki exhibit/Dreamliner delivery another historical event in Seattle!
